Well… we have a couple new projects. The first, we adopted a 2-3 wk old orphanned kitten, which my kindergartner Alec named Torpedo! He’s so sweet, and I’ve never had such a small little thing. Having him is just like having a baby… I feed him with a bottle, I clean up after his messes, and I bathe him with a washcloth. I pretty much pretend I’m his momma kitty, sans the fur. I hope he grows healthy and eventually lives up to his name.
Another project I started was my Quaker Virtues! I began it last night (even though the Stitch A-Long =SAL) that I am participating in isn’t starting till June 1st. I thought I’d get a head start, as I’m sure I’m the slower stitcher our of all. The linen is lovely… it’s 28 ct. Barn Owl Overdyed. It’s beautiful. I’m sticking with the charted colors an so far love them.
Anyway… raining here today and a perfect day to sit inside and stitch till my hearts content and pray over all the things that are on my heart.

That kitten is SO tiny! They are so cute when they are small. If you decide you need more, I know where to get some! My dad & my sister both have cats that had a bunch several weeks ago!
I’ve been a little productive but not nearly as productive as I’d like to be! I did finish a baby quilt for a girlfriend I started back in Oct finally. Now I get to start on mine & hope I get it done before he gets here!
Finally found a job! Yea! Will have to drive down to about Roy every day for the school year though. That’s ok — they pay well!
Sounds like everything is going good for you. Talk to you later!

What a sweet kitty!! You are doing exactly like my sister did – she was working at a Pick and Save over 25 yrs ago – and found an abandonded kitty in the dumpster behind the store. Casey as he came to be known grew into a gigantic black kitty and was a one person kitty – my dad (who was not a kitty person) became his one and only pal. He was around for almost 20 yrs before he passed sleeping on the back porch in the sun.
If you would send me your email I will send you my address.
take care,
