BlogShares – looking to the Light K, now I’m scratchin my head here! Anyone heard of this virtual/fantasy blogshare market? This is weird, but in a kinda futurisitic cool way. It’s pretty much a way to brag about your blog and/or your taste in other blogs. If every one is buying “shares” of your stock and your price is climbing, that’s great.
I tried it out, and it was OK, but they went offline for a few months and I lost the desire to return when it came back.
It’s more than just a time-waster, though. I found some gems of blogs through this service, but all-in-all, the preferred way to find a goodie is in the links of blogs you enjoy. If you’re looking for sites that link to you, go to http://www.technorati.com/ I found some faves of people who had stumbled across me. *blush*
Back to bloglines, I’d give it a go and see what you think. Put your own site in there, buy 75% of your stock and look around for other sites to add to your portfolio.
But only if you don’t mind spending some time on it.

time? how is that defined anyway? I don’t think I have enough of it to try to muddle my way through a fantasy stock scenerio! LOL! I think I have a hard enough time blogging sincerly, I mean, come on… over on my other blog, I have the “kung fu hero” the “geek factor” the “leader” then the “movie” or whatever.
well, ok, so it does now look like I have some time to waste if I’m doing those, right? Ha! Those didn’t reqire any thinking! : )
